All our china is of the highest vintage quality but due to the age of some of our china there maybe loss of gilt or crazing to the glaze, this does not effect the quality or usage of the china.
We will deliver to you for free if your event is within 5 miles of Weybridge with a minimum spend of £50. for deliveries over 5 miles we will charge a 45p per mile charge. China Hire clients are welcome to collect items hired at an agreed time suitable for all parties.
Cleaning And Packing
Due to the age and delicacy of the china, all items need to be hand washed. To reduce the risk of breakages we ask that you just dry wipe away any food and drink on the china and replace it back into the wrap and box.
We may charge a small percentage fee for washing up and this will be included in your quote.
Note: Damage or loss of any packing boxes shall be charged at full replacement cost of the supplier.
Hire Period for China Hire Clients.
Unless otherwise agreed our standard hire term is 48 hours.
- In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil our contact to you due to factors outside of our control a full refund of any monies paid will be given.
- Clients should be aware our vintage china is old and delicate and therefore no responsibility can be taken for any injury arising from the china unless it can be shown to have resulted from negligence on the part of Mrs Jones – Tea and China Hire.
- Specific items seen on the website are used as examples of our range of china. We will be happy to accommodate any specific china requirements, subject to availability.
- We will endeavour to accommodate any colour schemes of the client, but due to the nature of the collection this may be through hints of colour on some items of the china, rather then the entire set being hired.
Terms Of Payment for China Hire Clients & Tea Party Bookings Excluding Weddings.
We will take a deposit in the unlikely event of breakages. the deposit will be paid back to you within 48hrs of your event to your chosen bank account, subject to all items returned in its original state. Upon request we can send you the breakages cost per item.
We will require a deposit upon agreeing to hire from Mrs Jones – Tea and China Hire and full payment of the hire items will be due no less then 30 days before your event. If your event is booked within 30 days the full amount will be due up front.
Cancellation Of Booking of China Hire or Tea Party Bookings excluding Weddings.
Should the client wish to cancel the booking, the client should inform Mrs Jones – Tea and China Hire as soon as possible. overall charges apply as follows:-
1 month or more – no charge – payment will be refunded.
29 to 20 days – 50% Total Charge
19 to 10 days – 75% Total Charge
9 days or less – 100% Total Charge
