Mrs Jones and Kingston County Hall

Mrs Jones was recently asked to partner with Kingston County Hall Weddings as one of their official wedding caterers. As a preferred caterer we were asked to set up a mock afternoon tea reception at their wedding open day last weekend.

The day was set up to encourage new couples to have a look at this impressive venue and introduce some of the hall’s existing suppliers to couples who had already booked the space.

We set up all the tables with our beautiful vintage china including our three tiered cake stands so anyone coming in could see what to expect.  Naturally we brought some of our delectable goodies for people to eat!  Our salted caramel brownie squares went down very well accompanied with a glass of prosecco from Chota Peg & Lime, who had their vintage bar set up for the afternoon.

For places like the County Hall it’s often hard for people to see beyond the ‘county hall’ title to what is an absolutely superb wedding venue, with an historic Victorian grand hall and inner cobbled courtyard.   We’re delighted to have been asked and can’t wait to do our first event there!
